The Swiss qualification within the SwissEU™ dual-qualification pathway is awarded by the European Institute of Management and Technology (EIMT), Switzerland, a private education institution established in the Canton of Zug.
EIMT combines a Swiss academic identity with an international quality-assurance profile focused on applied education, business, management and professional development.
Its institutional quality framework includes ACBSP accreditation candidacy, private external quality assurance, quality certification and international professional memberships.
EIMT has been granted candidacy status in the accreditation process of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), an international organisation specialising in the accreditation of business and business-related education programmes.
ACBSP candidacy represents a formal developmental stage in the accreditation process, involving institutional review, quality improvement and progression toward the applicable ACBSP standards.
Candidate status is not the same as accreditation. EIMT or its programmes should be described as ACBSP-accredited only if and when formal accreditation is subsequently granted by ACBSP.
For SwissEU™ learners, this adds an international business-education quality dimension to the Swiss component of the dual-qualification pathway.
In addition to its ACBSP candidacy, EIMT maintains a range of international quality credentials and professional affiliations supporting institutional development, digital learning and applied higher education.
These currently include:
- QAHE — Private, non-governmental institutional accreditation
- AQS / ISO/IEC 40180:2017 — Quality certification for technology-enhanced learning
- EURASHE — Institutional membership
- USDLA — Professional membership
- ATHEA — Institutional membership
These credentials represent different forms of external quality assurance, certification and professional engagement. They should not be interpreted as Swiss governmental accreditation or as automatically conferring recognition of EIMT qualifications by third parties.
Information relating to accreditation, recognition, qualification frameworks, memberships and quality assurance is provided for information and transparency purposes only.
Recognition, equivalency, professional use, further study, employment, professional registration, immigration-related use or acceptance of any qualification is not automatic and may vary according to the country, receiving institution, employer, professional body or competent authority.
SwissEU™, SIMI Swiss, EIMT and EAI do not guarantee any specific recognition, acceptance, equivalency or third-party outcome. Learners should verify the requirements applicable to their intended use of the qualification with the relevant receiving organisation or authority.

The European qualification is awarded by EuroAmerican Institute (EAI), Malta.
The Swiss qualification is awarded by EIMT, Switzerland.
SIMI Swiss provides the academic delivery framework, learning experience and learner support through the SwissEU™ Live Class Direct™ model.
This pathway represents the final stage of a bachelor’s programme.
Applicants are expected to have already completed eligible prior learning equivalent to the earlier stages of undergraduate study.
Admission is therefore subject to academic review and confirmation that the applicant’s previous qualifications or learning are appropriate for entry to the final year.
The programme covers key areas of advanced business and management, including:
- Strategic Management
- Strategic Leadership
- Strategic Human Resource Management
- Strategic Marketing
- Strategic Financial Management
- Advanced Business Research Methods
- Capstone Project
Together, these modules develop strategic, managerial, analytical and applied research capabilities.
The Capstone Project is the final applied component of the programme.
It enables learners to integrate knowledge from across the BBA and apply it to a practical business, organisational or management issue.
The project is designed to demonstrate the learner’s ability to analyse a real-world challenge, use evidence, develop informed recommendations and communicate professional-level business solutions.
An approved specialisation may be available through the Swiss qualification, depending on the learner’s academic profile, professional direction and Capstone Project.
The specialisation is subject to academic review and approval and should reflect the actual focus of the learner’s completed work.
The specialisation is generally associated with the Swiss EIMT qualification.
The EAI Bachelor of Business Administration is normally awarded under the approved programme title without a separate specialisation being added to the degree title.
The exact wording of qualifications and academic documents is subject to the awarding institutions’ applicable regulations.

Applicants with prior study in another discipline may still be considered, depending on the level, content and academic relevance of their previous qualifications.
The final decision is made through academic admission review.
Relevant professional and prior learning may be considered through an applicable APEL or RPL process where permitted.
Any recognition of prior learning remains subject to academic assessment and approval and should not be assumed before the formal evaluation is completed.
Applicants are normally expected to demonstrate approximately CEFR B2, IELTS 5.5 or an equivalent level of English.
Equivalent evidence or internal assessment may be considered where permitted by the applicable admission regulations.

EuroAmerican Institute is a higher education institution licensed in Malta, and the relevant programme operates within the applicable Maltese higher education regulatory framework.
The exact use of the qualification in another country remains subject to the laws, policies and recognition procedures applicable in that jurisdiction.
The two qualifications serve complementary purposes.
The EAI qualification provides the European nationally regulated academic dimension, while the EIMT qualification adds a Swiss academic and professional profile, including the possibility of an approved specialisation.
This structure is intended to give learners greater flexibility in presenting their academic background for different professional, academic and international purposes.
Graduates may use the qualification when applying for postgraduate study, subject to the admission requirements of the receiving institution.
Admission to a Master’s programme, professional programme or other further study is not automatic and is determined by the institution receiving the application.
The qualifications may be presented for employment, career development or professional purposes.
However, acceptance depends on the requirements of the employer, professional body, regulator or competent authority concerned.
SwissEU™, SIMI Swiss, EAI and EIMT do not guarantee acceptance for any specific employment, licensing or regulatory purpose.
No.
International qualifications are not automatically recognised for every purpose or in every jurisdiction.
Recognition may depend on the country, intended use, local regulations, employer requirements, professional licensing rules or the policies of the receiving institution.
Graduates normally receive the applicable degree or qualification documents and corresponding academic records issued in accordance with the policies of the respective awarding institutions.
The exact format, wording and supporting academic documentation are determined by EAI and EIMT.
The programme is designed for learners seeking a more internationally positioned final-year pathway that combines:
-
A European nationally regulated bachelor’s qualification
-
A Swiss qualification
-
The possibility of an approved specialisation
-
Live online academic engagement
